Very early on in the piece, I was advised to prepare for being Sophie & Phil’s photographer. To expect the unexpected. To ready myself for a day filled with crazy personalities and excitement.  At every wedding, we are reminded of the ‘solemn and binding nature’ of the relationship that the couple is about to enter into. While there is a serious component to the event, it’s also important to be able to relax, enjoy the day and have fun. And have fun we did.

There was dancing to Spice Girls. Rides in two awesome Kombis. A ceremony where they swore to protect each other should we enter a zombie apocalypse. Climbing the walls at Fort Scratchley. Proving that kids play equipment isn’t just for kids. And of course, Gangnam. It was nonstop action in a way that suited Sophie & Phil perfectly.

Looking through their images, it’s hard not to get caught up in their laughter, their happiness, and their love for each other.
