Stanley Park Wedding ~ Emma & Lucas

Stanley Park Wedding ~ Emma & Lucas

This was my first wedding at Stanley Park, but the second with this family. The longer I do this job, many weddings have past couples/families of mine attending which makes it all the more special. As a photographer, you develop a sense of déjà vu with places like this – somewhere you’ve never been, but feel like you already know after seeing photos from other weddings there. Each couple will bring their own style to the day though, and this was such a beautiful day. There was Emma’s Nan, requesting a photo of her outfit to send to the designer for their Instagram. An emotional ceremony with just the right amount of tears – my first time working with Julie Muir, who has the best accent in the celebrant game bar none. A few shots out the front of the 1897 homestead, perfect sunset right on queue, dinner from the best caterers around, endless DoughHeads donuts and then finishing off with Emma’s Nan (again) tearing up the dancefloor. Good vibes all day and one that makes me very happy to share here 🙂
