For a long time, I used to only shoot full-day weddings - between 9 to 12 hours. It's only in the last few years I've taken on shorter coverage, and more intimate events such as elopements. It's been so special to witness and document this style of wedding.
I actually knew Sarah & Burt already, as I've photographed a good chunk of their friend circle and seen them at all those weddings. This ceremony (celebrant Julie Muir) was filled with laughs and it was so nice to have everyone right in close. There was a bit of rain around which pushed the ceremony inside, but that soon cleared for us to get some photos around the grounds.
