Kristy & Mick were one of the first couples to ever book me for their wedding, but by the time their actual day came around they were far from my first wedding shoot. Plans and dates changed a few times, but they were determined to get it right. Settling on Walka Water Works (near Maitland), the stage was set for all of their plans to finally come to fruition. Promising your life to another through marriage means pure commitment – the oath that you will try your hardest and stay dedicated no matter the circumstances. After seeing the dedication on display at this wedding, I think they’re going to be just fine. Mick had actually been in hospital the morning of the wedding, but pulled it together just in time. I only had the privilege of covering their ceremony, but we managed to squeeze in some extra shots as well. It was my pleasure to be their guest.
