I catch up with every couple for an afternoon before the wedding to get them used to being photographed. Sometimes the location is a favourite haunt of the couple, sometimes it’s meaningful, sometimes we pick it just because it looks cool. Such is the case with this set, where I took Helen & Ryan to a favourite little spot of mine – Helen had requested anywhere where the sunsets are the best. As it turned out, they’d actually arrived a few hours early and had been killing time at the pub – not a bad tactic in itself. They provided the cuteness factor, the sunset pumped out some sweet colours and we came away with a few awesome frames 🙂
