Weddings (usually) don't look anything like your regular day-to-day. It's fun to get shots of you all dolled up in some exotic location, but I can't speak enough to how much I enjoy photographing people in their own environment. Their house, their suburb, their pets, their space. Not long before I shot Sam & Charlie's wedding, we went for a walk around their neck of the woods. It did help that their 'wood' is the hood of Carrington and that they have a gorgeous pooch as well. I love the idea that decades down the track, these little vignettes can transport people back to that house, that feeling, that time.
