Back when I was writing the description for engagement sessions on my website, I found it hard to define them. They’re not specifically about the engagement, and even the word ‘session’ makes it sound like I have an itinerary all planned out (I don’t). I tried a bunch of different wordings and phrasings, before settling on what they really come down to – an opportunity to hang out and take some great photos. The Saturday just gone, I got to do exactly that with Sophie, Phil and their adorable dog Cupcake. I love shooting at Caves Beach and this was no exception.

These two are getting married in October – it is going to be so awesome.
