Melissa & Adam ~ Taree

Melissa & Adam ~ Taree

The first time I met Melissa & Adam was for their engagement photos in January. Waiting for them at a park in Taree, I was nervous. Not because of any reason relating to them, but it is always interesting making that first contact. We’d been in touch via email, but what would it be like in person? Would we get along? Would we be able to spend every second of their special day together without going crazy? The weather wasn’t helping either – brooding black clouds were edging in and we’d already pulled the session forward a half hour to try and avoid the impending thunderstorm. On the dot, Mel & Adam arrived. And as soon as we said hello and started shooting, I knew I had nothing to worry about. They made it clear that they were willing to trust me whatever the conditions, and this accepting and carefree nature made it an honour to document their day.

From a heartfelt ceremony at the Blue Cross Anglican Church in Taree to the reception at the racecourse, Mel & Adam moved through their day with ease. They weren’t afraid to strike a pose and their bridal party definitely kept my assistant Jo and I on our toes. It was one of those days that truly reminded me how much I love doing what I do, and the people I get to meet. I love my clients. I love weddings. And Melissa, I loved the gifts you arranged for the guys. Excellent choice.

Oh, and here’s some photos for you to enjoy =)
