This Leaves & Fishes wedding featured so many of my favourite things.

Regina & Nigel opted for a first look, which is a great way to relieve the stress & tension that can sometimes build up before a ceremony. They put their prep addresses a few minutes apart, making logistics and timing a breeze. We managed to catch some gorgeous late afternoon sun for their photos. The beautiful grounds at Leaves & Fishes also meant we didn’t need to drive anywhere to shoot them, which means they didn’t need to be away from their guests for long.

So many stylistic choices came together perfectly, and a great team who worked seamlessly to ensure everything flowed smoothly. It was a privilege to spend time with these two and witness the honesty and openness of the relationships on display. It was an emotional day, but with a crowd who knew how to get the party going and never took things too seriously. A quintessential Hunter Valley wedding that I could gladly shoot over and over again.
