When you work in the wedding industry, you hear plenty of people talking about how they’d rather elope, or have a tiny ceremony at home (or the registry), or how the entire institute of marriage is a waste of time and they’re not interested at all. And look. I get it. There are points to be made for all of those options. You do you. But when you’re involved in a day like Kira & Lochie’s, you walk away with intense feelings of weddings are the best thing ever and everyone should get married all the time. This day was just above and beyond. The wedding was at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat, an absolute stunner of a location. The ceremony was held in a natural amphitheatre and then we flicked between the sunset bar and reception marquee to avoid a few patches of rain. These guys have surrounded themselves with a very special group of friends & family who were just so excited to be there. One of those weddings where everything fits together perfectly and you’re stuck with a huge smile on your face the entire way home.
