Chris & Bec originally booked their wedding at 48 Watt St, but had to change dates to avoid conflict with the V8 Supercar event. Then their venue ceased trading, forcing them to change plans again to the Crystalbrook. When the day arrived, there was no clue that this wasn't their plan all along - everything worked perfectly and looked spectacular.
I'm always a strong advocate for putting your wedding as close together as possible, and this worked so well here. After the ceremony, guests relaxed in the bar while the team flipped the room to be ready for the reception. There was a bit of drizzle outside, but the front of City Hall gave us plenty of space for photos.
It was such a joy to photograph this day and have such a premium level of venue available right in the middle of Newcastle.
