I never tire of spending an afternoon with one of my couples in the leadup to their wedding date. It's natural for people to have a few nerves getting their photo taken - these sessions take care of that before it's crunch time on the big day. It's the perfect opportunity for us to get to know each other a bit better. I can see what type of photos will suit each couple best. And we get some variety with photos that are different to the wedding-day location.
I've lived in Newcastle for about 17 years now, but I still love using the city itself as a backdrop. It's ever-changing and many of the photos from these sessions now form a little historical record of the city!
