The most valuable part of any wedding day is being able to spend time with the people around you. That said, by the time you’ve fitted in the events and timings of many Australian weddings, you might have barely had a few minutes to talk to everyone. That’s why I always recommend to put everything as close together as possible, and one of the reasons why I love shooting at Adam’s Peak so much. Jordan & Shannon both got ready onsite, about a minute apart. Their ceremony was a 1-minute walk from there and the reception might have been 2 minutes from there (if you walk really slowly). This means there were plenty of opportunities for sweet little interactions and moments throughout the day, which is what I love to capture the most.
It also helps that they brought their dogs along, had my favourite ciders on the bar and served up the best dessert table I have ever seen.
