[wide]New Site, New Albums, New Galleries[/wide]

Today I’m stoked to be pushing out updates on a few things that I’ve been working on for the last few months. Here’s what’s dropping today :

New website. The previous design lasted 542 days and had some rust coming up on the edges. I’ve stripped out the junk and narrowed it down to make it as easy as possible to find what you need. I’m also adding a bunch of new blog posts to show you guys what I’ve been up to recently – three new sets today with plenty more on the way.

New albums. I’m breaking up with Queensberry and jumping into bed with Vision Art, an American company who make some incredible fine art albums. This has been a tough decision for me as I’ve been with Queensberry since the start, but the modern style of the VA albums is too good to pass up. Pages lay completely flat and images can run right across the fold which looks fantastic. I can’t wait to get my samples in so I can show you some more. Current clients, you’ll have the option of sticking with Queensberry or switching over if you like – I’ll be in touch.

New galleries. I’ve always included an online gallery for every client to save hours of uploading and make it easy to share. I’ve recently started powering these galleries with a service called Zenfolio, which holds the full-resolution original files – the same quality as delivered on USB. This means that every client has access to their images from wherever there is an internet connection, and can even download their originals again if need be. I always recommend making a backup, but this provides an extra copy from the start. This is the standard for all new galleries, and old galleries are being gradually upgraded.

These bells and whistles are rolling out just in time for the coming season, which has a stack of weddings that I can’t wait to sink my teeth into. Keep your eyes peeled for some amazeballs couples in 2013.

Cheers,
Ben
