2014 – Year in Review

2014 – Year in Review

I photographed 21 weddings in 2014. To everyone who invited me to record your day, I thank you. Not a quick, reactionary thank you, but the most sincere and heartfelt giving of gratitude that I can muster. Honest photography requires trust, and I thank you for giving that trust to me.

I’m happy with the shots I’ve got, but can also see trends that emerge. 2015 is set to be a massive year already – Liv and I are headed off to Europe for a few months in the middle, as well as covering ever more weddings on either side of that. It feels as if 2015 is the year I’ve been working towards for the last five years. I can’t wait to push myself further, expand the work I can produce for each couple and give every wedding my absolute best.

Thanks Ben! You have a special gift in both being able to create and capture special moments in a photograph that convey the emotion of the special day. Thank you again for capturing my daughter Madelynne's and Dean's wedding. Regards Wayne

I don't know the people in these pictures (other than yourself & the Boonys) but there is so much love and happiness just oozing out of these images. You have a way of capturing pure emotion. I made the right choice a few years ago when Matt & I hired you, we'd do it again in an instant. You have gone from strength to strength and I can't wait to see what beautiful images you produce next year. You thank us for hiring you, we all thank you for your amazing talent and friendship.
